Meet Pastor Mark

Mark views his role as Pastor to be both humbling and life giving in the church setting. His passion is to introduce the life and ministry of Jesus Christ to all people, and he loves being relational most of all.

“My life is fueled by the energy people bring to worship, and it is a true joy to walk alongside the Church in her journey of faith. I consider it the most distinguished honor to have been called by God to serve at Park Presbyterian Church, but more importantly to the people of Beaver County.”

Mark feels truly called to the unchurched and dechurched populations, and desires to be a witness in this culture.

“I can completely understand why there are individuals in the world that have problems with church. I sometimes have problems with church, and that is because churches are filled with people. I hope and pray that God uses me in a way to spread the news of His unending grace. I think if that message was heard and understood more often, people might have fewer problems with church. Sure Jesus spent time in the synagogues, but the majority of His time was spent in the open with people the synagogue rarely accepted. This was the religion of Jesus.”

Mark enjoys football and baseball, collecting tattoos, fishing, and tries really diligently to golf. However his biggest joy comes in spending time with his family. He and Jamie have four awesome children.

She graduated in 1997 and has been teaching professionally, both in schools and privately, since that time. She has taught General Music grades K-8 in the Parochial School System. She has also been the Music Director for several churches. She is well known for her work as a Vocalist, Guitarist, Pianist and Composer. She and her husband have also played in the band Timber Ridge since 2000 and have traveled all over the country performing. She finds great joy in teaching Music and using Music as a tool to teach God’s love and mercy. It is a joy to see how God works in the lives of others and how He uses Music as a way to plant the seeds that He will later turn into the fruits of the Spirit. Her personal hobbies include Golfing, Gardening and fishing with her husband. Though, admittedly, she is not very good at any of them.
